Welcome to my Photo site.
I am foremost a painter. Photography is an art form that I am started to explore beyond it's use as support to my paintings, drawings and prints only a few years ago. Since then, I have found working in photoshop quite amusing, and found applications useful to quickly work out ideas for my more 'traditional' artwork.

PLEASE NOTE - Flash, the end of an era:Due to Flash not being supported anymore on most browsers, the embedded slide shows from external sources are no longer working.
Anticipating this, some of these sites had eliminated Flash also, so these codes don't work at all anymore. I deleted an entire page of Flash shows from DeviantArt. Picasa Shows are now history since Google deleted that program. There was a 'hack' for Flickr I had used to embed slide shows, but these only work sporadically and are starting to be beset by bugs. I deleted them (as of October 2019) and might replace some of those shows by running HTML5 shows from my server, as I had already done with some here. UPDATE: Flickr now enables albums to be embedded - no slide shows, but a step in the right direction. Since I upgraded to a Pro account on Flickr, I will in time replace all outdated Flash with Flickr albums. These don't run automatically like a slide show, but you simply advance the images one by one. |
